David Defies Infinity

Toddlers to Teens No Response

All the numbers added to all
the numbers and then you add
            that again, and it’s infinity.

Multiply it, multiply it again.
Count until the world goes dark.
You’ll be closer.

I am the one who measures,
as best I can, my
love for you in poems.
The proof, if not tangible,
right here on the page.
